The most comprehensive and multi-award winning, wellbeing and resilience program in Australia, for children aged from kindergarten to Year 8.
BounceBack! is a fully integrated whole school social and emotional learning curriculum program promoting sustainable mental health, wellbeing and resilience for students and teachers.
Therese is one of the few professionals in Australia who has been trained by Professor Toni Noble to deliver workshops for teachers and support staff across the country. This whole day workshop enables teachers to embed resilience and wellbeing strategies within the existing curriculum and to help students learn academic, social, and coping skills.
Developed by leading Australian educators, and psychologists, Professors Toni Noble, and Helen McGrath, BounceBack! is an evidence based program that draws on research and findings from cognitive psychology and positive psychology. Understanding the challenges faced by teachers today, the program builds on existing school approaches such as circle time, cooperative learning and educational games. Social-emotional concepts are integrated with academic content where possible, and can be implemented across the subject areas of Health, Science, History, Social Studies, Maths, Music, Art & Drama.
The nine curriculum units develop key strategies in a range of areas such as Core Values, People Bouncing Back, Courage, Looking on the Bright Side, Emotions, Relationships, Humour, No Bullying, and Success. Resources include a practical teachers handbook, more than 170 interactive whiteboard activities, parenting notes, assessment tools and over 200 blackline masters.
